Through the Midst of Despair

I enjoyed working on Through the Midst of Despair. I had seen a comment where S. had mentioned that she was not satisfied with her blog design so I asked her if she would like me to design a free custom header for her. She took me up on the offer and gave me free rein in the creation of the design. I created three samples that I thought communicated both despair and hope. This is the one that she chose. The original picture for this header was bright and sunny. I darkened the hue to create the stormy feel and freehand painted the yellow “sunshine” accents.
The completion of this header is significant for RS Designs because it was the point where I knew that I really could create headers that others would love. I launched my free header offer and have been creating and learning ever since.
