Favorite links
by Revka ~ May 7th, 2007. Filed under: Helpful Links.I thought I’d share some of my favorite and most helpful links.
- Especially helpful was Paul Stamatiou’s explanation of how to create blog header graphics. His tutorial is based off of Photoshop CS2, but Microsoft Picture It! Photo 7.0, the software I use (because it came with the Microsoft Works Suite 2003 when we purchased our computer), works very much the same way.
- HTML Goodies is a wonderful site which offers “free tutorials on and help with HTML tags, programming basics, JavaScript, frames, hex codes and more; images, color codes and more for the web developer, tutorials.” Developers may be interested in their newsletter which offers information on the latest developments.
- Since my first two blogs were Blogger Beta blogs, I often found myself referring to BetaBlogger4Dummies. The article How to Customize Your Header taught me how to change the template HTML to allow for custom header installation.
- Urbanfonts.com is a wonderful source for free fonts. Thank you, Queen of Dirty Laundry, for cluing me in to this site!
These are certainly not all of my favorite sites, but this is a good sampling. Where do you turn when you need some extra help?
