More About Color
by revka ~ June 5th, 2007. Filed under: Helpful Links. After I posted about The Importance of Color, I found some great sites pertaining to color. These sites are so informative and helpful that I just have to share them with you.
Website Tips offers a whole section devoted to color. In it, you will find Articles, Tutorials, Resources, and Books on Color and Color Tools: Color Charts, Swatches, Palette/Color Schemer Tools, and Color Deficiency Simulators, Testing Tools.
I found SitePro Central’s HTML Color Code Combination Chooser first, then I discovered the rest of their great content. The Color Code Combination Chooser is a fabulous tool. If you know the color code you want as your primary color, type that in the far right box in the RGB portion of the color chooser. Once you have chosen your primary color, you can choose what kind of color combinations you want: Monochromatic, Analogic (base + neighbors), Analogic+ (base, neighbors, + compliment), Complimentary, Split Complimentary, Triadic, and Double Contrast. This color picker ensures that, whatever combination you want, your final colors will actually coordinate.
SitePro Central also offers Design Tips, Freelancing Tips, Marketing Tips, and much more. You owe it to yourself to see what they offer.
