Some things are worth repeating. And this is one of those things.

If you read my blog Making A Happy Life you will already know about this wonderful little time saver. If you don’t then you are just about to find out.

I have a very bad habit; I collect papers. I jot down everything on big white papers that afterwards are collected in a folder. Sounds good doesn’t it? Yes it could have been good if it wasn’t for the fact that I can hardly see what it says, most are links to other pages I need to check out, notes about things I need to remember, more things I just need to write down and on it goes. I have a pile of twenty of those papers left to throw away and I have already thrown away the same amount.

Now I have finally found a solution to this paper wasting non environmental friendly habit of mine; Sticky notes.

They are great! A few of their features:

* you can choose what color you want your note to be in; they are yellow tos tart with.
* Decide what font, size and colors your titles will have.
* Then repeat the above for the sticky note itself.
* Hide your notes or click on them to only see the title of the note.
* Arrange them as you please.
* Send a note to someone

And the list goes one, there are much more to these notes than I explain here. I especially like that the notes are stored and saved automatically, you only need to write and that’s it. No saving or worrying that your note is gone. No running around after papers, your notes will always be on your desktop.

I use my notes everyday and haven’t started a new paper for over two weeks, which is pretty good considering I usually started a new one every other day.

To find out more about these little sticky notes I use, go to Sticky Notes, to find other kinds you can try searching for sticky notes, post it notes, note pads.

I am so guilty of writing everything on little pieces of paper and then frantically searching the house for all of those small little pieces of papers. Sticky notes, huh?

Hey, Linda, I’m glad you wrote about these Sticky Notes. Since you told me about them, I have downloaded the program and use one for my RS Designs to-do list. It is really helping me stay focused and on top of my projects. Thanks so much for sharing! :)
