How have I missed two Featured Fridays in a row?! Since I did, I’m writing this one today, even though it’s Tuesday.

A friend recently introduced me to Mamasource. It is a great free community for U.S. moms.

Mamasource is a private website for moms, which is safe, local and free. Find the advice, referrals, and insight you need, in a supportive community of moms helping moms. Sign up now to start talking with other local moms!

Every day, I receive a daily digest which includes links to New Requests, Member Perks (more about that later), features one update on a previously answered question, several new requests for advice or support, a list of Mamasource sponsors, and the newest Member Perks being offered - all targeted to my area. It’s nice knowing that I can offer my advice when someone asks a question regarding something I have already experienced, but it’s also nice to know that, if ever I need, I can ask for advice from others who have already been where I have been.

In addition to advice and support, Mamasource also offers a directory of Mom-owned business. After you sign up for Mamasource, you can search the businesses in your areas. I listed both my piano studio (I have taught piano for 15 years) and RS Designs. Business owners can opt to offer Member Perks to Mamasource members.
